Vita-line Futon "Model 13"

For stable, flexible sleep comfort. The Vita-line Futon mattress "Model 13" has a structure where cotton horsehair and coconut in seven layers are combined. Cotton is fluffy and initially, has a relatively soft surface that becomes more firm over time. Horsehair is elastic, flexible and convinces elastisch, flexibel und convinces with its breathable properties. A 3 cm high latexed coconut core stabilizes the mattress from the centre and ensures elasticity and dimensional stability.

Sleep comfort:

The Vita-line Futon "Model 13" offers a perfect mix of firmness and flexibility. Next to the processed cotton that is the traditional filling material for futons, in this model, also two horsehair layers are used. This ensures good tension and supports the body before one can feel the stability of the inserted core of the latexed coconut fibres. The futon "Model 13" is 13 - 14 cm high. During the phase of layering the cotton layers can lose up to 35 % of their initial height (load dependency), they become more firm and therefore, more compact. The processing of the latexed coconut makes the futon mattress firm and at the same time, has a breathable effect and ensures dry sleeping environment. Also the cover of the futon "Model 13" is 100 % cotton.

Care:

By the care, you should keep in mind that a new futon should be turned and twisted so that the processed natural material can be distributed material. It is enough to turn the mattress after 3 - 4 8 - 12 weeks. You should keep in mind that in case of bed bases, the gaps between slats should be not wider than 4 - 5cm should not be exceeded, otherwise, (depending on the force/bodily weight) the futon can be pressed between the slats and therefore, can change/lose their original lying properties under such circumstances and “holes” can be formed.
