Vita-line Futon "Model 19"
Nine layers including a coconut core of 6 cm. The Vita-line Futon mattress "Model 19" has a structure
that perfectly combines the materials of coconut, latex, cotton and natural wool. The mattress is stabilized from
the centre by a 6 cm high latexed coconut core which ensures elasticity and dimensional stability. The latex
layers enhance this elastic feeling and provide good air circulation. Due to the fact that cotton and natural wool
provide certain bulkiness, at the beginning, the surface is rather soft, but becomes more firm overtime and provi-
des pleasant feeling.
Sleep comfort:
The Vita-line Futon "Model 19" is perfect for sleepers who do not want to lie on a too much firm base and
prefer elastic lying feeling. Cotton is classic filling material for futons. Sheep's wool is highly elastic and
very fluffy. Moreover, this material can absorb about one third your weight's moisture, without feeling wet. Pure
natural wool has great temperature-regulating properties and is self-cleaning. Also latex convinces with its spec-
ial elasticity and moreover, it is soft, hygienic and dust-free. Initially, the futon "Model 19" is 18 - 20 cm high.
During the phase of layering, the layers of natural wool and cotton can loseup to 35 % (load dependency) of
their initial height, however, their become more firm and therefore, more compact. The processing of the latexed
coconut makes the futon mattress firm and at the same, has a breathable effect and provides a dry sleeping envir-
onment. Also the cover of the futon "Models 19" is made of 100 % cotton.
